Multi-tenant insurance SaaS platform

As the sole technical owner, I led architecture, integrations, release planning, analytics, reliability, and operations for a SaaS platform supporting CRM, ERP, CMS, billing, and quote-form workflows.

  • Architected the SQL data model and core platform foundations for a multi-tenant SaaS serving 900+ active clients and 1,500+ websites.
  • Built analytics, reporting, and self-service tooling that reduced support volume by 90%+ and gave the business clearer visibility into SaaS operations and quote-form performance.
  • Designed integrations and data-mapping workflows with insurance systems including HawkSoft, EZLynx, and Vertafore, translating business processes into reliable import/export and API-driven solutions.
  • Led release planning, infrastructure decisions, and two data center migrations with near-zero downtime while maintaining 99.9% uptime over 11+ years.

I worked as technical lead and solutions architect, translating stakeholder needs into lower-risk delivery paths, integrations, workflow improvements, and real-time reporting outcomes.

  • Re-architected cybersecurity scoring and caching from a 4+ hour overnight batch process to near-real-time updates, drastically improving platform responsiveness.
  • Designed integrations and data flows across ServiceNow, Jira, Wiz, JupiterOne, and SSO systems, helping connect assessment data, operational workflows, and downstream reporting needs.

I do not wait for perfect conditions or formal authority to improve direction, clarify decisions, or reduce friction for the team.

Favor pragmatic architecture.

I prefer maintainable, lower-risk delivery paths over unnecessary rewrites, hype-driven complexity, or solutions that look impressive but age poorly.

Translate clearly.

I enjoy connecting business goals, operational reality, and engineering constraints so that stakeholders can make better decisions faster.

Design for maintainability and access.

I care about reliability, accessibility, clean interfaces, sensible workflows, and the long-term cost of what gets built—not just the demo moment.

Look for self-service leverage.

The best systems reduce repeat questions, support load, and operational drag. I like building tools that make that possible for users and internal teams.
